I've been writing down my thoughts ever since I could hold a pencil. My first foray into the publishing world happened around 1979 as a 15-year old, with the debut of my Beatles fanzine. It was all of four pages of xeroxed paper that I copied at the local post office…10 cents a page. My plans were to send it in to the world famous BOMP magazine - the only music magazine I knew of that had a fanzine review section. I just knew the orders were gonna pour in!
I anxiously stapled it together, put it in an envelope and mailed it off… right after they published what was to be their last issue.
Since then though, I've been lucky enough to have some of my written and photographic work published in various magazines around the world. A couple years ago, I was asked to write the music section for PIN UP AMERICA magazine. It afforded me the opportunity to interview and write about some amazing musicians.
